Module 4: Finding Articles

This module covers how to use databases to identify articles on a subject. This section contains 13 segments and will take approximately 20 to 25 minutes to complete.

After completing this module you should be able to:

  • distinguish between popular and scholarly periodicals
  • choose a database appropriate to your information need
  • use it to identify an article on a topic
  • use a database's email function to send a record to yourself
  • search the Gabriele Library Electronic Journals List and the Periodical Holdings List to locate the periodical that contains your article
